Summer de-stress: 3 week meditation course

Summer de-stress | Various locations around Manchester | Starts week beginning 8th June

As we move into summer, this three-week course will help us develop a calmer, more relaxed state of mind so we can enjoy the season more fully.

We often know that stress and worry only make difficult situations harder, yet it can feel impossible not to react that way when faced with the pressures and challenges of daily life.

According to Buddha, stress does not arise from external situations themselves, but from the way we respond to them. In other words, it comes from the mind. By learning to step back from stressful thoughts and let go of anxious reactions, we can begin to develop a clearer, more peaceful perspective. This enables us to respond to life’s problems in a calmer, more centred, flexible, and effective way.
