Our wish to be happy and free from problems underpins everything that we do, and every decision we make about our life. In this special evening talk, we can learn how we can create happiness from the inside out, rather than relying upon our ever-changing external conditions that give us no stability and no consistent source of happiness. Through meditation we can create a more reliable source of happiness and inner peace from within our own mind.

This talk will be taught by Gen Kelsang Thekchen, who is the Resident Teacher at KMC Ottawa and is a senior Teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. He has been a Teacher under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for more than 30 years. Gen Thekchen has taught widely in Canada and in the UK. He is well known for his ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a practical, profound and often humorous way, making them very accessible and easy to practise in everyday life.
