In this inspiring morning course, learn how to choose love rather than unhelpful states of mind such as attachment and hatred to improve relationships with others. Learn meditations which help us to cultivate a mind of pure love that is free from expectations and boundaries, giving us real freedom to choose how we relate to others in a balanced way.
Pure love is unmixed with attachment and stems entirely from a concern for others’ happiness. The mind of love ultimately makes our minds happier and more peaceful, and the minds of all those around us.

Gen Kelsang DrolkyiResident TeacherGen Kelsang Drolkyi is a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. She is a Buddhist nun who has taught internationally for over 30 years. Gen Drolkyi has been a dedicated, close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, receiving ordination from him in 1993. An inspiring teacher, she is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.

A retreat is an activity that allows the practitioners to step away from the busyness of daily life and focus on a specific practice of meditation. The function of meditation is to make the mind peaceful and calm. Whenever we meditate, we are performing a mental action that will cause us to experience inner peace in the future.
