Amitayus weekend retreat

Amitayus retreat | Guided by Resident Teacher, Kelsang Sama | Starts Friday 13th February 7pm

Amitayus is the Buddha of long life, wisdom and good fortune.

The practice of Amitayus is very important for everyone because we need a long life to complete our spiritual practice. If we lose this life, we lose the opportunity to enjoy a human life, practise Dharma and attain liberation and enlightenment. We also rely on Amitayus to increase our wisdom and good fortune through which we will make our life happy and meaningful. At the beginning of the year, Kadampa centres offer retreats on the practice of Buddha Amitayus, but we can also practise these prayers at any time.

Session times:

Friday Introduction 7pm (available online for members)

Saturday and Sunday: 9:30am, 11:30am and 3:30pm

Retreat fee: £35 for non-members (whole weekend)
