A Mind as Stable as a Mountain: Half Day Course with Gen Drolkyi
A Mind as Stable as a Mountain | Saturday 4th April 10:30-1pm | with New Resident Teacher of KMC Manchester Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
This is a great course for dealing with stress in daily life. On this half day workshop, Gen Drolkyi will show how the mind of patient acceptance is an inner strength. It is not a passive reaction but rather a strong active response to difficulty. Patience keeps our mind stable and peaceful- as stable as a mountain and as peaceful as the depths of an ocean.
Everyone is welcome, no experience of meditation is necessary.
Gen Kelsang Drolkyi will take over as Resident Teacher of KMC Manchester in April. She is a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition, a Buddhist nun who has taught internationally for over 30 years. Gen Drolkyi has been a dedicated, close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, receiving ordination from him in 1993. An inspiring teacher, she is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.
