Completely Fearless: Green Tara Empowerment
Green Tara Empowerment and Teachings with Resident Teacher Kelsang Sama | Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd March
Green Tara is the female Buddha of active compassion who, as the manifestation of the ultimate wisdom of all the Buddhas, is known as the ‘Mother of the Conquerors’. She is also known as the ‘Great Liberator’ who pacifies all sickness, poverty, misfortune, fighting and quarrelling, and causes the Dharma and all good fortune to flourish. Her green-coloured body symbolizes that she is also the manifestation of the fully purified wind element of all the Buddhas, and like the wind is quick to respond to the prayers of those in need. Her right leg extended also indicates her readiness to help others.
An empowerment is a beautiful Buddhist blessing rirtual and guided meditation through which we can make a deep connection with Green Tara’s enlightened mind, bringing peace, hope and happiness to ourselves and others.
Following the empowerment, there will be practical teachings on how to rely upon Tara in daily life using the practice ‘Liberation from Sorrow.’ We will learn how to receive inspiration from her, so we can cultivate a peaceful, fearless mind that can benefit both ourself and others.
Everyone is welcome, no previous experience is necessary. Come and enjoy a meaningful weekend with like-minded individuals full of blessings, meditation and positive encouragement.
Empowerment fee: £45 for the whole weekend/ £30 for Saturday only including lunch
