Take a break from the busyness of your life and enjoy a peaceful day of rest and renewal at the beautiful Didsbury Parsonage, a much-loved Grade II listed building set in picturesque surroundings.

There’s no need for long journeys to experience the benefits of a retreat. This day retreat offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, relax, and restore both body and mind, all within easy reach.

Enjoy uplifting Buddhist teachings and guided meditations designed to reduce stress, cultivate inner peace, and leave you feeling refreshed and inspired.

There will also be time throughout the day to enjoy the tranquil grounds, walk, sit quietly in contemplation, or connect with others in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Retreat fee: £30 including refreshments and light lunch.

    Gen Kelsang Drolkyi is a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. She is a Buddhist nun who has taught internationally for over 30 years. Gen Drolkyi has been a dedicated, close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, receiving ordination from him in 1993. An inspiring teacher, she is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.
