4-Week Series: September 13th – October 4th

Move beyond feeling overwhelmed by life’s challenges and discover opportunities for growth. Through meditation, you can develop a calm, resilient mind that creates the inner space to respond with clarity, wisdom, and confidence, allowing peaceful solutions to emerge.

In this course, you’ll learn practical meditation techniques taught by the Buddha that help strengthen the mind, cultivate resilience in the face of life’s difficulties and uncertainty.  Join us on this journey toward deeper inner strength and happiness.

Whole course £45 or £15 per class/ free for members

No previous experience of meditation needed, everyone is welcome!

  • Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
    Gen Kelsang Drolkyi
    Resident Teacher

    Gen Kelsang Drolkyi is a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. She is a Buddhist nun who has taught internationally for over 30 years. Gen Drolkyi has been a dedicated, close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, receiving ordination from him in 1993. An inspiring teacher, she is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.

  • What is meditation?

    Meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focused on a virtuous object, and whose function is to make the mind peaceful and calm. Whenever we meditate, we are performing a mental action that will cause us to experience inner peace in the future.

  • The benefits of meditation

    Some of the benefits of meditation are: Reduce Stress - Experience a calm mind & reduce mental tension and anxiety Find Inner Peace - Improve your sense of well-being & experience real happiness Benefit Others - Develop a positive outlook and caring attitude to others.

  • Do I have to be buddhist to attend?

    No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits. Buddhism is a non-evangelical religion. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith or to none.

  • What do I have to bring to this meditation?

    Nothing - you just need to show up.
