The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lamrim) class | Monthly Sundays 11- 12:30pm | with Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Drolkyi | £8 per class | held at KMC Manchester, Chorlton
In these classes, Gen Drolkyi will help us to learn and deepen our experience of the Lamrim meditations, The Stages of the Path to Enlightenment.
If we gain deep experience of Lamrim there will be no basis for the problems of anger, attachment, jealousy, and confusion; we shall be completely free of all of them. First we must understand the value of Lamrim, and then by joyfully and patiently doing the meditations we shall gradually experience the results of Lamrim practice. Eventually we shall attain freedom from all suffering and the unchanging peace and happiness of enlightenment.
We will be using the meditations from The Mirror of Dharma with Additions. It is helpful to bring a book along with you to the class if you have one

Gen Kelsang DrolkyiResident TeacherGen Kelsang Drolkyi is a senior teacher in the New Kadampa Tradition. She is a Buddhist nun who has taught internationally for over 30 years. Gen Drolkyi has been a dedicated, close disciple of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years, receiving ordination from him in 1993. An inspiring teacher, she is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.
